Grouped Voice, One Journey

Community Based Research for me is more than just a project. For me, it is journey and a key of connections. Community Based Research thought me a lot of things just like, knowing the unseen issues that our community people are facing, learning their insights, and helping them in making solutions that can make a huge and helpful difference. Of course, we are just a normal student where we also face problems.

That is why we decided to document our CBR not just on listing the interviewees answers, nor just in words, but we decided to capture it  in pictures. We were able to capture the moments where in my groupmates where having fun interviewing, talking to citizens. Our CBR journey was documented not only for proof or for our Media Gallery, but the main reason is for us to keep the simple memories that we were able to share on the process of making our CBR.

Our CBR journey was documented not only for proof for our activity, or for showcasing our work in Media Gallery, but the main and most important reason, was for us to preserve and cherish the simple, memories we were able to share, create and experience together

The first thing that we decided to do in initiating our research was to make sure that it would have a positive impact and outcomes for the residents. We realized that this required a careful and well structured approach. Therefore, we began by making a strong planning and discussion for our Community Based Research. That involves their important needs, and studying the top one problem that they're facing.

Our CBR journey was full of fun, memories, and exhaustion. We started our journey at January 13 year 2025. This is the day we started interviewing and finish our own parts. Our CBR focused on learning the background, issues, and things that most people don't know about the product basi. We made a well constructed questionnaire and interview guides. All of this thought us human connection, empathy, and adaptability were far more crucial than any statistical analysis. Before we were able to make all of this of course we have our initial planning on what we are going to discuss and research, who are the respondents and analyzing if it will have a positive impact to the citizens. Since many of us was intrigue on knowing the background of basi, we have decided that we should also research the process on  how to make basi wine . Nevertheless conducting research is not easy, specially when we are lack of time. The whole month of preparing our CBR, there are some circumstances where we faced difficulties. The first week was easy even though we have a lack of time since we are only free at sunday. Of course journey would not be a journey if there is no problems. As soon as we started our web design, that is where the conflict began. None of us is expert at computer and don't have enough device to finish our cbr faster. The path we faced along where the deadline of our  presentation is getting near, that is when I started to feel exhaustion. Yes we did get through that phase even though we faced this type of conflict.
